SBI Ripple Asia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Doppler Finance to explore multiple opportunities on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). Notably, this marks the first collaboration between SBI Ripple Asia and a protocol built natively on XRPL infrastructure.
According to a statement released today, the partnership centers on two primary objectives: building institutional-grade yield infrastructure for XRP and expanding the adoption of tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) within the XRPL ecosystem.

More Details About the Partnership
To achieve this, Doppler Finance, an XRPL-based platform dedicated to developing yield-bearing opportunities, will work closely with SBI Ripple Asia to create compliant and transparent yield products tailored for institutional investors.
As part of the arrangement, SBI Digital Markets has been appointed as the institutional custodian, providing segregated and regulated custody services for client assets. This role ensures that institutional participants benefit from independent asset protection within a regulated environment.
More broadly, the partnership represents an important step toward deeper institutional engagement with the XRP Ledger, which has historically lagged behind other smart-contract networks in on-chain yield opportunities. By collaborating with a regulated financial group linked to Japan’s SBI Holdings and Ripple, Doppler gains access to one of Asia’s most established digital-asset ecosystems.
Bridging the Gap Between Decentralized and Traditional Finance
Commenting on the development, Doppler’s Head of Institutions Rox Park stated that the collaboration aims to expand XRP’s role beyond payments and position it as a productive, yield-bearing asset. Similarly, SBI Ripple Asia emphasized that the partnership will accelerate the development of secure and transparent yield-generation frameworks on the XRP Ledger.
Ultimately, the collaboration underscores a broader effort to bridge traditional finance with on-chain infrastructure.
