American Bitcoin, a firm backed by members of the Trump family, has further beefed up its Bitcoin balance, according to on-chain data tracked by Arkham Intelligence. The milestone places the company 18th in the global ranking of corporate Bitcoin holders, above ProCap and GameStop.
ABTC Reaches BTC Accumulation Milestone
Arkham’s labeled wallet for American Bitcoin shows a balance exceeding 6,061 BTC at the time of writing, following a spate of Bitcoin purchases in 10-17 BTC tranches over the last few days. At a current Bitcoin price of $68,824, that stash represents roughly $421 million in digital assets. Although the figure remains small compared to the largest institutional accumulators, it reflects a meaningful allocation relative to many privately structured entities.
This expansion comes on the heels of Bitcoin’s most recent downturn. The firm made most of its recent purchases under $69,000 despite macroeconomic uncertainty and shifting interest rate expectations that influence price swings, reflecting its confidence in the asset’s long-term trajectory.
A Political Name in a Corporate Bitcoin Strategy
American Bitcoin’s accumulation strategy mirrors a growing trend popularized by companies such as Strategy: treating Bitcoin as a balance-sheet asset. Strategy also continues to expand its own BTC position, holding 714,644 BTC at the time of writing.
American Bitcoin has drawn attention not just for its holdings but for its association with the Trump family. The firm and its executives maintain a pro-Bitcoin stance in political circles, aligning with a broader narrative that digital assets are becoming a subject of policy discussion in the United States. Eric Trump, who co-founded the firm and serves as Chief Strategy Officer, has championed Bitcoin as a viable asset for strategic state-funded reserves.
Unlike mining firms that accumulate BTC as part of operational output, American Bitcoin’s holdings are positioned as treasury exposure. That distinction matters, as treasury buyers typically allocate capital in Bitcoin rather than focus on production economics.
With more than 6,000 BTC now under its control, the firm has established a foothold among a cohort of organizations signaling their confidence in Bitcoin’s durability. For now, the premier cryptocurrency still trades in a range between $65,000 and $71,000. Whether the firm continues adding to its position will likely depend on broader market conditions and strategic capital allocation decisions in the months ahead.
