Key Points

Institutional demand for spot XRP ETFs is gaining momentum, with major financial firms reporting sizable positions in the investment products. Goldman Sachs leads the group after significantly increasing its XRP ETF exposure in the second quarter of 2026.

According to Q2 2026 13F filings, highlighted by James Seyffart, Goldman Sachs reported $87.45 million in XRP ETF exposure, representing approximately 84.05 million XRP. The position increased by $83.15 million from the previous quarter, putting the investment bank well ahead of other institutions with reported XRP ETF holdings.

The latest filings therefore highlight growing institutional participation in the emerging XRP ETF market.

Goldman Sachs Emerges as Largest XRP ETF Holder

Goldman Sachs’ latest filing signals a major shift in its XRP ETF exposure.

The investment bank had previously liquidated its XRP ETF positions during the first quarter of 2026. At the time, Goldman Sachs held $154 million across four XRP ETF products from Bitwise, Franklin Templeton, Grayscale, and 21Shares.

However, the latest filing shows that Goldman Sachs has re-entered the market with an $87.45 million position. Consequently, the bank now ranks as the largest institutional holder among the firms identified in the Q2 filings.

Jane Street and Millennium Expand XRP ETF Positions

Goldman Sachs is not the only major financial institution increasing its exposure to XRP ETFs.

Bloomberg Intelligence data compiled from Q2 2026 13F filings shows that several other prominent firms reported substantial XRP ETF positions.

Jane Street Group LLC ranks second with $16.64 million in exposure, equivalent to approximately 15.99 million XRP. The firm increased its reported position by about $13.57 million from the previous quarter.

Meanwhile, Millennium Management LLC ranks third with approximately $16.2 million in XRP ETF exposure. Intesa Sanpaolo SpA follows with around $14.42 million, while Marex UK Holdings Ltd. rounds out the top five with approximately $8.12 million.

The gap between Goldman Sachs and the other major holders is particularly notable. Its reported exposure exceeds that of Jane Street by more than $70 million, underscoring the scale of its latest position.

The Bitwise XRP ETF (XRP) currently leads the market, with $507.23 million in net assets and $603.56 million in cumulative flows. Meanwhile, the Franklin XRP ETF (XRPZ) ranks second, holding roughly $370 million in net assets and $462 million in cumulative inflows.
