Corporate Bitcoin treasury adoption continues as public companies expand both digital asset and cash positions.

Corporate Bitcoin (BTC) adoption continues to expand as public companies deepen their treasury strategies. Michael Saylor’s strategy failed to buy Bitcoin again, while Strive has quietly reached a new milestone by increasing its Bitcoin holdings to 20,000 BTC.

The latest purchases highlight how publicly listed firms are taking different approaches to managing their Bitcoin reserves while positioning themselves for long-term treasury objectives.

Strive Reaches 20,000 Bitcoin Holdings

Strive disclosed that it purchased 79 Bitcoin between July 20 and July 24 at an average price of approximately $65,723 per coin, including fees and expenses. The acquisition was valued at roughly $5.2 million.

The purchase increased the company’s Bitcoin holdings from 19,921 BTC to an even 20,000 BTC as of July 24.

Alongside its Bitcoin reserves, Strive reported holding approximately $154 million in cash and cash equivalents. The company also disclosed that the fair value of its STRC stock holdings stood at approximately $43.9 million while maintaining ownership of 505,000 STRC shares.

Strive’s latest filing further showed that its Class A common shares outstanding increased to 74.3 million, while Class B common shares totaled approximately 9.8 million. Effective common shares outstanding reached 84.1 million.

The company reiterated that its Bitcoin treasury strategy remains subject to various factors, including its proposed merger with Semler Scientific and potential adjustments related to its preferred stock dividend structure.

Strategy Expands Its Cash Position

Michael Saylor’s Strategy has also strengthened its financial position, although through a different approach.

The company announced that it increased its U.S. dollar reserves by $525 million, bringing total cash reserves to approximately $3.75 billion. According to Strategy, the current reserve position provides approximately 2.1 years of dividend coverage.

As of July 26, Strategy held 843,775 Bitcoin in its treasury, making it the largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holder by a significant margin.

Rather than announcing a new Bitcoin acquisition in its latest update, Strategy focused on bolstering its liquidity position while maintaining its substantial Bitcoin reserve. It follows its recent 3,588 BTC sales in early July.

Corporate Bitcoin Adoption Continues to Expand

The latest announcements illustrate how corporate Bitcoin treasury strategies are continuing to evolve. Some firms are prioritizing additional Bitcoin purchases, while others are strengthening their cash positions to support future capital management objectives.

Strive’s move to reach 20,000 BTC represents another milestone in the growing number of public companies allocating capital toward Bitcoin. Meanwhile, Strategy’s multi-billion-dollar cash reserve demonstrates the importance of maintaining financial flexibility alongside large digital asset holdings.

As more public companies refine their treasury strategies, Bitcoin continues to play an increasingly prominent role on corporate balance sheets across the market.
