Key Points

Bitcoin ETFs recorded $1.918 billion in net inflows from August 17 to August 21.
Ethereum ETFs attracted approximately $697 million in net inflows during the same period.
XRP ETFs recorded $39.78 million in weekly inflows, while Solana ETFs attracted $28.34 million.

In the latest update, crypto investment products recorded strong inflows last week as investors increased their exposure to Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, and other major digital assets.

Spot Bitcoin ETFs Lead With $1.918 Billion in Inflows

From August 17 to August 21, spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $1.918 billion in net inflows, highlighting strong institutional demand, according to data from SoSoValue. Notably, Bitcoin ETFs recorded positive flows during all five trading sessions. The strongest inflow came on August 20, when investors poured $606.29 million into the products.

Demand was also strong on the previous day, with Bitcoin ETFs attracting about $517 million in net inflows.

BlackRock once again led the market. Its spot Bitcoin ETF attracted $1.18 billion during the week, while Fidelity followed with about $293.1 million. The figures highlight continued demand for Bitcoin exposure through the two major issuers.

Ethereum ETFs Also Attract Strong Demand

Ethereum ETFs also recorded consistent buying throughout the week. Spot Ethereum ETFs registered $697 million in net inflows between August 17 and August 21.

Like their Bitcoin counterparts, Ethereum ETFs attracted inflows during all five trading sessions. The strongest single-day performance generated $220.7 million in inflows.

BlackRock and Fidelity also emerged as the leading Ethereum ETF issuers, attracting the largest portions of the weekly inflows. Consequently, the steady demand indicates that investors were not only increasing their Bitcoin exposure but were also seeking opportunities in Ethereum as the broader crypto market strengthened.

XRP, Solana, and HYPE ETFs Join the Rally

Investor demand also extended beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum. Spot Solana ETFs recorded $28.34 million in net inflows during the week, while spot XRP ETFs attracted $39.78 million.

Meanwhile, spot HYPE ETFs recorded $3.89 million in net inflows.

Although these figures were significantly smaller than Bitcoin and Ethereum’s inflows, they demonstrate growing investor interest across other major crypto assets.

ETF Inflows Coincide With Broader Crypto Market Rally

Strong ETF performance coincided with a sharp rally across the cryptocurrency market.

During the week, Bitcoin came close to hitting $80,000, while Ethereum climbed above $2,500. At the same time, XRP surged above $1.50, and Solana crossed the $100 level. HYPE, the native token of Hyperliquid, also rallied sharply and surpassed $83.

The simultaneous increase in ETF inflows and cryptocurrency prices suggests that renewed investor demand contributed to the broader market momentum. As capital moved into regulated investment products, buying interest also extended into the underlying digital assets.

Although Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Solana, and HYPE have retraced somewhat from their weekend highs, investor sentiment remains relatively positive.

More importantly, sustained ETF inflows show that institutional and traditional-market investors continued adding exposure even as crypto prices climbed sharply.
